Each book you read is another life experienced.
Why I Write:
I write because the stories are a part of me. If I didn't publish my books, I would still have closets full of manuscripts. The greatest part of writing in my opinion is the ability to share these stories with others. Every book reflects a piece of my soul. When I release a new book, it's with a bit of hesitation because I am putting myself out there. Most authors are introverted by nature because we dwell so often in the worlds inside. The hard part is then taking those worlds and characters we've become attached to and turning them over to our readers, hoping they will love them as we do. The greatest part is receiving emails from readers reflecting just that. My goal was to give others the same escape I grew up finding in books; the ability I have to do just that is a dream come true. Thank you, readers. I appreciate you more than you know. May you enjoy the worlds within my pages and find the escape and adventure you are looking for. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I write these stories for you.
I am currently working on a new series called Dr. Wolf, the Fae Rift Series. it's about a werewolf who works as a hospital janitor by day and moonlights as an ER doctor for fae creatures in the D wing at night. Keeping both worlds separate is a feat for even Dr. Wolf when a disaster happens that makes both worlds collide. The first book in the series is called 'Shockwave'. It starts at the beginning of the Fae Rift when the divide between the fae world and the human world is torn apart and Aleric Wolf is thrown into the ensuing chaos. Hurt, disoriented, Aleric finds himself in a hospital emergency room. When other fae creatures begin to show up, Aleric sneaks them into the D wing of the hospital. With no one else able to treat their unusual conditions, Aleric steps into the role of Dr Wolf. He has one goal in mind, to help the fae and close the Rift. But Dr Wolf has walls around the memories of his own broken past and a weakness for beautiful eyes and a caring heart that threaten to unravel the world he is holding together by a thread.
The Silver Series:
Werewolves hide among you; it’s a secret we have fought for centuries to keep. We were almost wiped out once, and know better than to let the secret out again. But just like humans, werewolves are impulsive and sometimes uncontrollable. That’s where I come in. My job is to protect the werewolves and help them live full and happy lives. There are Hunters and others who don’t believe werewolves have rights and should be hunted and exterminated like animals. I’ve done what I can to smooth Hunter-werewolf relations, but extremists, fighting rings, and covert agencies feel that the fate of werewolves should be to die, be forced to fight for the entertainment of humans who watch the mutilation and bloodshed like it’s a sport, or be experimented upon to unlock the secrets of our superior strength and increased healing capabilities. I have seen things that would break me if I didn’t remember what I was fighting for. But I do remember, and I want to share that story with you. --Jaze Carso
